Data Souls (ods.ai) is a self-funded platform supporting the Open Data Science community of over 70,000 data scientists worldwide. We foster community development by organizing courses, events, and competitions in the field of artificial intelligence, without external investments and providing free access to our resources.
I lead product development and continuous improvement of the technology platform, which enables AI competitions, events, job searches, educational courses, and hackathons. My work involves developing features that support community growth and business objectives, ensuring a balance between free access and tailored business solutions. I interact with major clients such as McKinsey, Intel, Huawei, Sberbank, VTB, Alfa Bank, MTS, Megafon, and X5 Retail Group, customizing the platform to their specific needs. Together with the team, we organize some of the largest AI competitions and events in the CIS region, promoting innovation and learning in Data Science.

Datafounders was an initiative created to help Data Science enthusiasts launch startups. The project originated as a track at the Data Fest conference, organized by the ODS.ai community, and was expanded to a wider audience after receiving positive feedback.
Together with my co-founder, we prepared interviews with Data Science startup founders and investors, and organized one-on-one mentoring sessions for aspiring entrepreneurs. We invited guest speakers including founders and partners from companies like Chattermill, PolyAI, Neurolabs, QuestDB, Datasaur, Episode 1 Ventures, Angular Ventures, and others. Our goal was to collect up-to-date information from industry leaders and deliver it to new startups, contributing to the development of a broader segment of the Data Science community.

Together with an AI engineer and two founders, we launched the company. I hired and managed both full-time and remote teams, expanding to 30 remote employees. I led weekly dataset planning, focusing on facial recognition and psychological research, and managed data annotation teams. I headed the art department, overseeing the creation of stickers and their translation into 20 languages, and developed processes and tools for seamless integration of new content into production. Additionally, I prepared presentations for investors and conducted experiments with new styles, improving product metrics.
